Birds, birds, birds as spring migration hits peak and we go birding at Point Pelee National Park. The perfect opportunity to add some birds to our 300 Bird Challenge during the premiere birding period in Ontario. During spring, dozens of bird species travel from warmer southern locations up into Canada where insects and other food become more abundant. On their way to breeding areas, birds will often take pause at locations such as Point Pelee. Mid-May is an excellent time to visit when this mass migration period tends to peak. In this video, we will spend time birding at Point Pelee and several of the trails there, plus quick stops at some other locations in South-western Ontario including Rondeau Provincial Park, Mitchell's Bay, Hillman Marsh and more. --------------------- Don't miss an episode! Even when you visit the store. We appreciate that times are tough, but the simple thing is, this channel is a loss making endeavour for us because we only get $5-10 per video from adverts. If you'd like to help us out, donations will help us to release more content because it means we can get away more often and it will help the channel to branch out and cover more. In the future, we'd like to make more videos than we are currently able to. If you'd like the help out, you can PayPal a donation to us at [email protected] or you can "Buy us a coffee" here: https://buymeacoffee.com/brithikeson where we may provide some bonus content in the future if people use it --------------------- BritHikesOntario, is Stu Hall. I'm a displaced Brit... who hikes and goes birding in Ontario, Canada (and beyond!). I'm usually joined by my wife, Sara. Got an enquiry? Want help identifying a bird (or some other organism)?
