Tonight started off dry in Local District 4, Ho Chi Minh City, but before long the skies opened up and the rain didn’t stop 🌧️. Before we knew it, we were walking through ankle-deep flood water, yet the energy of Saigon stayed alive and buzzing. We set out to eat local street food deep in the alleyways of District 4 at Xóm Chiếu Street Food Market, a hidden spot that almost no foreigners or tourists know about. Even with the flooding, Vietnamese locals kept cooking, laughing, and working, showing their unstoppable spirit and love for food. From Vú Heo and Hong Kong-style street food to sweet Bánh Thốt Nốt, we experienced the real Vietnam, authentic, chaotic, and beautiful, even in the pouring rain 🇻🇳 Join us as we eat, explore, and connect with locals through the flooded streets of Local District 4 and Xóm Chiếu Street Food Market in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the real Vietnam you don’t see in travel guides. ❤️ Support + Follow Our Journey ☕ Buy us a coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/rickyandkacey 📺 Subscribe on YouTube: / @rickyandkacey 📸 Follow on Instagram: / rickyandkacey 📍 Where We Are 📍 Xóm Chiếu Street Food Market, Local District 4, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 🍜 Hidden local street food alleyway 🌧️ Rainy season, flooded streets, ankle-deep water, endless energy 🙏 Thank you for watching!
