RETRO REVIVAL: Turn Boring LAMINATE Furniture into a Statement Piece!

Visit https://brooklynbedding.com/transcend... to get 30% off your mattress with code TRANSCENDFURNITURE In this video, I'm taking an old 70s laminate dresser that I picked up YEARS ago, and using paint to turn this mass produced brown box with fake woodgrain into an absolutely GORGEOUS statement piece! Laminate furniture is still worthy of a makeover, and hopefully this video will express that. It's also "guilt free" painting material! This video covers everything from cleaning the piece, making some repairs to the drawers and outer case of the dresser, priming and painting, dealing with solid wood legs and handles, and how to get PERFECT, crisp lines without paint bleed through when taping off areas for paint. I'll be using Fusion Mineral Paint's newest colour Snowdrop as the base for this creation, and adding some fun, retro inspired stripes for an asymmetrical pop of colour. ➡️➡️The only thing NOT shown is top coat. Technically, Fusion has a built in top coat that is VERY tough (I've used it on exterior doors with NO issues). But that aside- I only finished the painting the night before this video came out, and didn't have time to add it.
