Dont forget tho check out "2019 Photo Rallies-The Stone Crusher" • 2019 Photo Rallies-The Stone Crusher -~- Apologies for the delay in getting this video uploaded. This episode has been a pain in my proverbial..... It has at various times suffered from editing software crashes, proxy timecode and indices rebuild failures, final edit render issues, corrupted files, final edit audio mysteriously disappearing and my personal favourite a copyright strike. (Apparently the behemoth 20th Century Fox takes issues with my little channel sampling the Theme of the Magnificent Seven for 15 seconds.....mea culpa ;-) Anyway, because I had uploaded this privately to the channel and then foolishly deleted the final draft I had no choice but return to the original footage and to re-edit the entire video again including composing my own musical piece at the end to replace the offending music which upset 20th Century Fox. Rant over NOW....To the video description proper. It was late August and there remained a lot of photo rally points to visit and all were very, very far away so I decided that the most efficient way to cover the ground and tick some of these off was A MOTO-CAMPING TRIP. First stop...OMEY ISLAND, a small tidal island off the coast Galway, right on the famous Wild Atlantic Way. When the tide is out you can safely walk, or drive across the soft wet sands to explore the island. Can you safely ride a motorcycle across the soft wet sands? Well...yes Lucky Luke already proved that. But can you safely ride a motorcycle with a pillion, fully loaded fully loaded with camping gear, tent, sleeping bags for two people, camera gear and a drone. The bike has never been so loaded and I have never been so scared. Oh, we also had a road rage stand-off with some of the local island inhabitants. Watch to the end for that one.
