Studio 3 Arts presents the first exclusively queer cabaret for and from Barking & Dagenham, as part of Be & Do, our LGBTQIA+ community project. ‘A Queer Cabaret’ takes place online over 4 evenings from Wednesday 29th July to Saturday 1st August via Studio 3 Arts and Be & Do Instagram and Facebook accounts, features acts from the local LGBTQIA+ community and some from further afield, including spoken-word, dance, music, drama, drag and a DJ set. All acts have been exclusively pre-recorded for the cabaret. . This video features dancer, choreographer and drag performer Asttina Mandella, vocalist and queer activist Fatt Butcher and DJ and radio host Sydd Viscose. . We love and support the entire LGBTQIA+ community, but we just want to remind you that this cabaret has been made with an adult audience in mind. Some adult themes and explicit content is included. . Tonight’s performers are Asttina Mandella and Fatt Butcher hosted by Liza Vallance and Matty May. Hosts, Liza and Matty stand in front of a gold shimmer curtain, both are holding mics. Liza is stood on the left, with red curly hair wearing a green sparkly dress. Matty is stood on the right with short hair and pink lipstick wearing a leopard print skirt and gold shimmer wrap over their shoulders. Act 1: Asttina Mandella in a black jumpsuit dances in the studio, and lip syncs to multiple tracks.
