2023 Gibson SG Standard Unboxing And Demo - This May Be The SG Of My Dreams
In this video, I unbox a new 2023 Gibson SG. I traded 4 mid level guitars and a couple of pedals for this guitar at Guitar Center and wound up getting a great deal with my trades and managed to pick this thing up for just a little extra cash. I couldn't be happier, the deal was fair and I now have an SG. I was actually missing and SG in my arenas of weapons, so this is a welcome addition. I have had a couple in the past, but couldn't find quite the right one. This is quite possibly the one. The guitar looks beautiful, and plays and sounds amazing. I will admit, the guitar was setup with 10's and the action was quite high. I adjusted the trussed (tightened) and changed the strings to 9-46 as well as lowered the bridge a few cranks. After about 15-20 minutes I had it setup perfectly for my tastes. The 490 R and 490T pickups sounds really nice. The offer a lot of clarity with both clean and distorted tone.
