From the rubble of Gaza's once biggest hospital, there are witness accounts of people with their hands bound and buried alive. Reports are emerging of Israeli atrocities during its siege on Gaza's al-Shifa hospital, that if proven, would constitute the most heinous of war crimes. According to a statement released by Hamas, and based on witness accounts, Israeli troops carried out horrific executions of civilians. Dozens of decomposing bodies have been found in the medical compound. Local officials say around 300 Palestinians were killed. There are reports that some of the victims had their hands tied and were buried alive. And others, according to eyewitness accounts, were crushed with tanks - in what appears to be an attempt to cover up evidence. Dr Mohammed Abu Afash is the Director of the Palestinian Medical Relief Society and at the site of the al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. He says what he witnessed, amounts to war crimes.
