In this video, we show you our GetYourGuide day trip to the fjords of Khasab. The fjords of Khasab in Oman are among the most scenic places in the region. Rugged rock faces, turquoise blue water and dolphins living in freedom invite you to swim, snorkel and explore. On board a traditional dhow, our route leads us from the harbor into the mighty fjords. Here we soon encounter playful dolphins who have great fun accompanying the boats for a while. After several encounters with these wonderful animals, we head to our first snorkeling spot off Telegraph Island. Here, after jumping into the cool water, we enjoy the diversity of Khasab's underwater world: sea urchins, sea cucumbers and countless colorful fish populate the rocky bottom of the fjords. The snorkeling equipment and cosy towels are provided by the excursion provider. Back on board, a delicious lunch with typical delicacies from the region awaits us. For dessert, we enjoy various fruits, dates and the particularly delicious tea and coffee, which are prepared with exquisite spices in Oman. Various soft drinks and water are of course also available. Well-fed, we then head back into the water at the second snorkeling spot. And of course you can also use the dhow as a diving platform. A wonderfully refreshing swim. Exhausted, happy and full to the brim with new impressions, we finally head back to the harbor, where our excursion ends after a good six hours.
