On the afternoon of June 26th, 2008 in Memphis, Tennessee, a 31 year old woman who was known as Kerri Harris Wicks who worked as a quality assurance manager at Cargill company had returned back to her office after attending a board meeting. Suddenly a fellow worker who was a 39 year old man named Craig Armstead who had been hiding inside her office while she was away sneaked behind her and stabbed her in the neck. He then fled away from the crime scene leaving Kerri dead on the floor. Why did Craig Armstead killed his fellow worker, this is the story of Kerri Harris Wicks. Kerri Harris Wicks was born on March 7th, 1977, in Memphis, Tennessee. Her father was known as Frank and her mother was Mercy. Kerri was the youngest of the six children. Her eldest brother was known as Jason Wicks Harris. Kerri attended Kirby High School in Memphis where she excelled in her studies and stood out amongst her peers and classmates. After graduating from Kirby High School, she was awarded a full academic scholarship to Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama. After joining Alabama A&M University, she studied bachelor's degree in food science, however a few years after graduating, she moved to Atlanta in the year 2006 and she was employed as a quality assurance manager at Cargill which is a food processing company. Kerri was dedicated to excellence at her job and she had a high analytical skills therefore she ensured that the company's products met the highest standards of quality and safety. She wasn’t done with thirsting for knowledge, she later enrolled at Mercer University in Atlanta where she was an master of business administration student, Kerri was a very busy woman balancing working full-time and being a student.
