Welcome to our adventure on the breathtaking Portuguese island of Madeira! 🌿⛰️ Starting on the coast, over the highest peak, through the surf of the ocean, stooping through long tunnels and always out in nature, no matter what the weather! Because this is anything but predictable. Despite the adverse conditions, the island's breathtaking nature rewarded us time and again. Between steep cliffs, green mossy paths and endless panoramas, we find the peace and quiet that we are always looking for and love so much on our tours. And although Madeira is also very busy in March, we were often able to enjoy our adventure all to ourselves. 🏞️✨Luxury! With 5.5 kg of luggage each, we were quite light on the island. We were mainly self-sufficient. We take a day off in Porto Moniz to dry our equipment and recharge our batteries. 🌴🍽️☀️ Of course, not everything goes according to plan. The weather forces us to spontaneously change our route several times. In Curral das Freiras, we even have to look for accommodation due to storms and heavy rain.
