We find our heroes, Dav Beara and Linds Queenly on the road heading to the next location on Honestly's Map. Instructions are given with each location as well. 1)Take the Western Equestrian Loop. The two venture down the trail and discuss topics of art, culture, and food. Upon reaching a bridge, Linds is the first to jump out and go for it. Dav, while attempting to go on the bridge, remembers taking this trail in a past life, or...no he can't quite remember. Linds greets the dreaming Dav, and leads the next obstacle while absolutely dominating it. A few moments later Dav is made fun of for having a leaf on his sock. Dav owns it, and wears it like a badge of honor given to him by Mother Earth. The two stop and admire the nature, but Dav feels a slight tug on his backpack. He quickly turns to find Linds putting away her jacket because of how warm the trail has become. The two enjoy a moment together. 2) Head towards the lake campsite. Dav is now realizing what this journey actually means to him. The reality of it has sunk in and now the stakes are real. He cannot fail, he will not fail. The two reach the first mile down the trail. Dav sees Linds on her phone, taking selfies and playing on it. Dav looks stoic. After 26 minutes of talking about literature, and politics, Dav Beara and Linds Queenly have their very first leaf race. The rules are simple, find a leaf and drop it on the count of three. The two are off! And it looks like... Dav is the winner! Better luck next time Linds. Not too long after, Dav is startled by a feeling. Well, more than a feeling, but someone talking to him and whispering evil thoughts... Dav fights the attack without alerting Linds, for she must not worry about how much potential danger Dav is in at this very moment. "We're close" Dav said. 3) Find it in Fire. The campsite by the lake is reached, and boy is that a pretty view! So much nature to take in, and reflect on. Our home world is truly gorgeous. Before to much thought goes into this part of land, Dav hears the voices again, but this time they are speaking in riddles, without making sense. Dav ignores them as best as he can and begins to search for the first Artifact. "Find it in fire?" The fire pit was still visible, and was used recently. Dav reaches in, and pulls out a small keychain. The whispers stop after a moment, and Dav's mind is cleared. Artifact 1 has been found just as Honestly predicted. This trip is now over, and the two must find their way back. Which should be easy, unless Linds is leading... The hunt for Artifact 2 begins soon... Song: Skiptracing: Mild High Club
