What a fine collection of Woodie Cars of Southern California! These cars represent the free-wheeling surf days of yore. Cars of the '30s and 40s with rich wood paneling, many with surfboards on top, and each one customized! . We had a great time at the event, got there at 6:30 am before sunrise, with some cars already in and covered to protect them from the sea mist, with other cars rolling in for the next couple of hours. . We made new friends, saw the beach, saw lots of woodie cars, and just enjoyed the day. We stayed out the end and filmed most of the cars leaving!
