The T8 New Orleans is fresh out of recent reload speed buffs in one of the recent patches. Does it make a difference or is this ship still kind of blah? Well, IMO, the ship is simply ok. It's not horrible, it's not amazing, it's just average. The AP is amazing when ships are dumb enough to post up broadside to you but otherwise her HE leaves a lot to be desired. Her AA is really short ranged for a T8 cruiser but it packs a lot of DPS into that short range. She is relatively stealthy, and reasonably maneuverable, but she is SOFT, very soft in fact. It's hard to really get the most from New Orleans without islands and that is a theme you can expect from T8 on! Anyway, the history of this class is cool as heck so that's why the video is so long. Bear with me! :)
