Exploring the City of Nelson, British Columbia / West Kootenay Lake
We went on a May long weekend road trip to Nelson, British Columbia. It is about 12 hours from Regina when less stopping other wise it could get up to 14 hours if you spent time to some of the attractions along the way. Nelson is a small and charming city sitting on the West Arm of KootenayLke, within the Selkirk Mountains of southern B.C. Nelson hosts a mural festival which includes international artists from all across the world. For this year, it will be held on August 12-14, 2022.
