This video covers the primary ordering rules in LSAT Ordering Games, and the entirety for a 1:1 Correspondence Ordering Game. In future lessons, we will go over the additional rules that will be required for different situations; such as the Overbooked and Underbooked Ordering Games, and tiered ordering. For a simple summary, there are 6 Basic Ordering Games tactics: Dashes, Blocks, Restrictions, Divisions, Options, and Arches. It is important to note that these rules are not created equal, and that Blocks and Arches are going to be the most helpful / common across all ordering games. However, this video will not go over dashes since it’s been detailed heavily in JTL 2. Also, I would like to give a thank you to my friend Jennifer, who was enthused to voice this segment. Jennifer is a current law student in her second year at UC Davis and earned a 174 LSAT. For reference, her diagnostic was below 150 as she initially scored a 147. While going over my notes / script, she genuinely agreed that this video would be an advantageous resource to those preparing for the LSAT. I hope she's right, since I plan to take the LSAT whenever LSAC clarifies, or resumes, its testing dates. I hope everyone is studying safely and stress-free during this global crisis.
