I got to see ‪@CheVelle‬ live for the second straight year at Steelhouse in Omaha, and they were fantastic as usual! I knew "Prove to You" from their first album "Point #1" (1999) was likely going to be on the setlist, but it was still exciting when they started playing it! The backstory behind Point #1 is the label that produced the album went out of business and the company that now owns the album refuses to work with Chevelle to let them buy the rights to the album back. According to Pete "The person that owns that album, which is not us, we cannot get it back. We’ve tried so many times. And they just, they don’t promote it. They won’t give it. They won’t sell it to us. They won’t do anything with it. It’s pretty frustrating." So hearing anything live from Point #1 at a Chevelle show is pretty rare in 2025!
