When Lachie Stevens-McNab impulse-purchased the only available ferry ticket and headed south for a Middle Hill strike mission, he wasn't looking at the weather forecast. Not that it would have put him off anyway, but there was a super wet storm system headed straight for the east coast with no dry days in the long range. Lachie and his mate Jacob made the most of their time, sampling all that the area has to offer and lapping Baarbie DH rain, hail or shine (but mainly rain). Good to see the track tested by a professional in extreme conditions, it goes!
