After the amazing response to last weeks activity "Sticky Fingers", I thought I'd better show you all it's sister gross motor activity, "Sticky Feet!". This one is all about balance, body awareness, bilateral integration, midline crossing, postural stability and motor control, but most importantly it's FUN! 😆 Oh and it also works great as a socially distancing friendly movement break! (Something I get a lot of requests for) 😊👍 Just like "Sticky Fingers", you can grade this up or down to find that right balance of accessibility and challenge for a very wide range of ages and abilities. My personal favourite is to use 10 coins with the child sitting on a yoga or peanut ball (just make sure it's safe to tumble is it can get a little wobbly). I've used this one in clinic and via teletherapy and have had a lot of fun with it as a movement break for socially distanced classrooms and even for distance learning groups.
