Welcome back to another vlog, another work vlog ☺️, I am currently working at the reception, the other work vlogs I was at the housekeeping as well as Service department. Mind you as a Hotelfach student you are required to work in all departments so that you have an idea about how different departments function in a hotel. On this video I was working in the morning shift, and it was on a weekend. My morning shifts include checking out guests, most guests pay at the hotel through card so that is part of the morning shifts include checking, working on reservations as well because our hotel does not have a reservation department that means at the reception we also work on reservations, when guests book their stay at the hotel we have to make sure we allocate the rooms, confirm the packages and everything else included in working on a book.
