Hong Kong Sector - Ananda Marga Blissful Celebration World Class Art Performance, Ananda Marga Service and Philosophy, Healthy and Delicious Yoga and Vegetarian Foods Date: Saturday, September 21, 2024 10:00am-13:30pm Lecture Hall, Heping Branch, Taipei Mega Business Centre (3F, No. 15, Sec. 1, Heping W. Rd., Zhongzheng District, Taipei) We cordially invite all those who support Ananda Marga’s philosophy and history of sponsoring charitable projects, foundation members, their families and friends to share the milestones of spiritual promotion and social services and the vision of future projects. Event Details This event is called “Blissful Celebration”, which aims to share joy through a series of exciting activities. We have invited RAWA artists to present inspiring and sophisticated art performances. These include: New Age Music – Songs of the Dawn; World Cultures (Local Folk and Traditional Arts) – Indian Dance, Folk Music, Taiwanese Chanting and Rapping, Russian Folk Music, etc.; Kiirtan Chanting; Yoga Dance; and other performances that will help to uplift the spirituality of the world and local cultures. In addition, we will share the results of the Foundation’s projects in recent years and hold an award ceremony to express our gratitude to those who have supported the Foundation’s projects and the Ananda Marga philosophy for so long. A delicious vegetarian meal will also be served at the event to share this wonderful time with everyone. Introduction to Yujing Spiritual Village and fundraising It has been over 30 years since the establishment of Tainan Yujing Eco-Village, and over the years it has become a spiritual paradise for many people in Taiwan and overseas who are seeking to improve their physical, mental and spiritual health. Let’s help build the Eco-Village together and contribute to the dream village in our hearts. New projects New guest/staff accommodation. Work has began to construct 5 rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a laundry room above our Wellness Center Kitchen dining room. Budget: NT3.5 million. New bathrooms and storage room – The Eco-village requires more bathrooms for the guests attending large spiritual conferences held twice a year. A new storage room is also required for storing dining and kitchen equipment for these programs. Budget: NT1.3 million Renovation of vegetable garden shed. The building is being extended to include space for washing and packaging organic vegetables from the farm. The roof and ceiling will be insulated and new doors and windows installed. Budget: NT300,000 Due to global warming, an air conditioner is now required at the meditation hall. A donor has kindly contributed most of the funds and the Eco-village will cover the balance of NT150,000 Awards and Appreciation for Outstanding Contributors Awards and appreciation ceremonies for those who have made outstanding contributions to spiritual outreach and charitable programs. Healthy and Delicious Yoga Vegetarian Food Healthy and delicious yoga vegetarian meals will be served at the event.
