So if your parents have white hair early in their young age maybe in their 30’s or 20’s you are likely to get gray hair young as well so graying of hair can start very young it can start even at the age of 10 or 12. There are people even at age of 16 or 18 who have most of the hair is great. There are certain disease conditions which can cause graying of hair. So there are certain syndromes with a white forelock. That is seen from childhood it's called as Piebaldism . So it may be associated with some other defects then there are conditions like nutritional deficiencies which is a second commonest cause of growing of hair.
