Nothing special to show with this video. Just my first ever experience with a little Legends Car I rented for 5 laps at Castelletto di Branduzzo circuit, in Italy. Really a careful and granny-style driving due to both a lot of insecurity on my side and how the car was loosing grip due to the quite low temperatures (5-6° C). In adddition to the slow driving, I should have dare more on the brakes, to be honest, but a part from that it has been a marvellous experience. The Legends Cars are powered by a motorcycle engine (Yamaha 1300cc in this case) with a 5-speed sequential gearbox and a max power between 130 and 150hp at 10,500 rpm. Due to my first test, the one I tried has been depowered a bit so I'm expecting it had less than 100hp. But still with a weight around 500kg, short wheelbase and welded differential they're a hell of fun to be driven! I must admit I loved so much doing those quite useless "heel and toe" downshifts, sounds almost like a DFV engine from the inside hahah Unfortunately I wasn't revving higher than 7000-7500 rpm just because the engine didn't have power and torque over that (due to the restricted engine of course). Other two things I didn't enjoyed so much are that being almost 2 meters tall I was really stuck inside the cockpit (especially my legs touched the steering wheel) and the fact the steering wheel wasn't perfectly centered (I know, I should have stopped after the first 10 meters and should have fixed it right away) which was probabily the worst feeling I've ever had driving a car! It strange to describe but you struggle to set the correct corner trajectory and it's a lot harder to control the car oversteering. I really hope to try a full unrestricted one in the future, even because I want to hear that Yamaha engine screaming up to 10,000 rpm!!
