To celebrate the opening of the exhibition Yosemite: Exploring the Incomparable Valley, Mark D. Mitchell, the Holcombe T. Green Curator of American Paintings and Sculpture and exhibition curator, and David K. Skelly, Director of the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, and the Frank R. Oastler Professor of Ecology at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, discuss the role that Yale University played in the early exploration of the awe-inspiring landscape of the American West.
