My first time competing in the EG, I ended the day with the class win, which was actually from my first timed run of the day. The guy in second place was improving with each run which put the pressure on me to go faster. This lap would certainly have been my quickest of the day, but I was little too pumped up and carried too much speed through Barcroft. I missed the apex for Sunny in but stayed committed, rear wheels touched the grass and it was game over. It was a fairly big hit, but the safety gear did its job and I thankfully came away with only bruises. The car looks bad but it will be back.
