I gave this stuff a try this morning while Rick and I were both out working in the garden and yard. Doing heavy lifting stuff like weed whacking, tree removal and prepping garden boxes for planting. I admit, my garden is a bit of a mess and I have gotten a late, late start, but luckily, North Carolina has a very long growing season. So I bought my plants as motivation to get this ball rolling! I'll Fly Away is an all natural insect repellent that is made with great, all natural, wholesome ingredients like catnip, aloe vera and essential oils like eucalyptus, citronella, tea tree and lemongrass. This stuff smells great and is mild so it works well with sensitive skin! It is safe enough to use on children or even babies! Lasts up to 6 hours per application and is effective against mosquitoes, black flies, , no see ums, and most biting insects! It is scientifically proven to be more effective than repellents containing the chemical DEET. In my book all these things add up to a great combination that I have to give a try! Mosquitos love me. They have all my life. I guess I just taste good. They pretty much leave Rick alone. My girls are also tasty to those nasty little insects and we have yet to find a spray that is fully effective aside from those that contain poisons, and other chemicals that we have always been concerned with using, but found no other alternative. A lot of other natural sprays that claim to work just don't and I have even made some homemade versions that worked for a short time, but then quit. So finding this was a real blessing! I worked hard in the garden this morning for over two hours. When I came back inside with a small harvest of fresh rhubarb, I was not covered in bug bites. I sweat really bad too so a lot of the time those other sprays will wear off. This one did not. I also did not get covered with a nasty, sticky residue like I did using the DEET based sprays. I also did not choke upon applying it to myself. This spray smells amazing and I could breath easy knowing that it was not full of poison! I hope you will give I'll Fly Away a try this summer!
