This is a 4K video of a walk to Diglis Basin. Diglis Basin sits where the canal meets the River Severn in the city of Worcester. We walked along the Worcester and Birmingham Canal on Sunday, one of the sunny days in November 2019. We passed the Commandery, the Royalist Headquarters during the deciding battle of the English Civil War – the Battle of Worcester 1651. There is more to this area, but as you will see the Severn was still in flood therefore some areas were inaccessible. You will notice the water overspilling the towpath after lock one. The area around the Basin has gone through a transformation developing the space, turning it from a derelict wasteland into what you see today. The development to the right as we approach the Basin is the now transformed Royal Porcelain Works. The music is from the Royalty Free Music Club Album. Easy Listening Interlude (Jazz Background Music.)
