In 2008, Zan invited me to work and travel with him. He was my mentor, became my friend, and we traveled the world spreading the Ars Amorata message for 8 years. In 2016 we had a break-up that was painful for both of us. This is our first conversation since that break-up. I learned that my judging of the other may be a short-term survival mechanism to deal with pain, but that in the long run nobody benefits from it. In the beginning of this conversation, I chose to honor Zan. I honor him for his path, his work, and who he is for me. It felt as a great relief to do this, and it made for a delightful talk about Zan's past, the questions he is currently sitting in, and what he looks forward to in the near future with great anticipation.
