The Zoom MS-70CDR is one of Zoom's finest guitar pedals. Learn all about the MS-70CDR's features and effects in this video. Learn more at zoom-na.com. Hi everyone, this is John from Zoom and I'm here to introduce you to our MS-70CDR MultiStomp guitar pedal. The MS-70CDR provides the full power of a rack-mounted multi-effects device in a compact stompbox design. With its custom guitar effects, an easy-to-use interface, onboard chromatic tuner and versatile power options, you'll be surprised at how much the MS-70CDR has to offer. Whether you're a guitarist or a bass player, you can cut down the size of your pedalboard by adding an MS-70CDR. From a warm, vintage sound to a clear, modern tone, this one pedal offers incredible versatility. It includes 137 diverse options for shaping your sound, including various effect types such as phaser, flanger, tremolo, vibrato, auto-pan, pitch shifter, harmonizer, delay, reverb, equalization, filter, dynamics and more. The MS-70CDR's DSP microchip performs 32-bit floating-point calculations, giving it the ability to create sophisticated studio-quality effects such as the rich, dense reverbs and delays. These rooms, halls, arenas, plates, and springs allow you to add depth and spaciousness to your sound. Also included are reverb plates and springs and a tape delay simulator, as well as reverse, modulated, and self-oscillating delays. The MS-70CDR’s intuitive design allows easy navigation in both live and studio settings and makes creating, saving, and rearranging effects simple. Its stereo input jacks accept signal from both passive and active guitars, and dual line-level output jacks enable you to record the MS-70CDR's many sounds in stereo. You can use up to 6 effects simultaneously and arrange them in any order you like, as well as bring individual effects in and out of the chain as desired. There are 50 patch memories where you can store your custom edited and chained multi-effects, with the first 30 pre-loaded with useful factory settings. You can also create a list of up to 26 patches to cycle through as you step on the MS-70CDR footswitch. This is handy for live gigs or whenever you want your effects in a certain order. The MS-70CDR also comes with features like Auto-Save, Tap Tempo, and Zoom’s Noise Reduction algorithm, which is designed to remove noise during pauses while still maintaining your instrument’s natural tone. The onboard chromatic tuner supports a variety of standard guitar tunings—even drop tunings—and you can opt to either bypass all effects during tuning or to mute the outputs so that you can tune in silence. The MS-70CDR runs for up to 7 hours on 2 alkaline AA batteries, and powers up automatically when a connector is inserted into its input jack. A Power Management function automatically turns the pedal off if unused for an extended period of time. The device also runs on rechargeable NiMH batteries, or a separately sold AC adapter.
