Winner of the Early Excellence in Science Award in Biology 2024 “Unlocking Genetic Clues: Using Genome-Wide Studies to enhance Drug Target Discovery” Prof. Dr. Na Cai from ETH Zurich, Switzerland was recognized for her research on the genetics of neuropsychiatric diseases, using multi-omics to reveal disease heterogeneity and metabolic differences. As part of the event, she delivered a lecture on her research, while Martin Becker, a colleague from Bayer AG’s R&D Pharma division in Translational Sciences, presented his own lecture on related research at Bayer AG.
