Welcome to today's video where I will be spending a comical amount of time showing you how to build a redstone clock that I also spent a comical amount of time working on. Could I have been more productive? Yes. Did I learn something new from this experience? Yes. And that's how much Bedrock edition redstone sucks. Whenever I made a design that worked in Java I'd rebuild it in Bedrock and it wouldn't fucking work. Oh, an overcomplicated morning detector that works even if you sleep during the day in a thunderstorm? Bedrock edition inverted daylight detectors don't gradually decrease signal strength after you sleep and wake up. Oh, an extremely reliable signal strength counter? Laughably easy to break on Bedrock if your input pulse is a nano fraction of a tick too short or long. Maybe this will finally be my last redstone clock video. This description is so long and nonsensical. Comment "I have crippling debt" if you read through this whole ramble. Ok onto the actually useful stuff now. Chapters: 00:00 - Beautiful intro (I creamed a little) 01:20 - He speaks and tries to make some silly little jokes that would earn him at least 10 years in a CubeKrowd staff's basement 05:32 - Start of Tutorial - Chunk alignment and location 07:02 - Signal strength counter and carry 10:21 - Redcoder 12:14 - Chipotle break where I prove that compsci majors can go outside and get themselves stuffed (with Chipotle Honey Chicken and Pork Carnitas Burrito Bowl) 12:49 - Digit decoder 17:06 - 7-segment display & wiring 21:20 - Weird and stupid Bedrock edition issue and how to fix it 21:48 - 2nd digit 28:11 - 3rd and 4th digit 31:10 - Filling in display decoration 32:08 - 24h reset circuit 33:59 - In-game timer clock 40:52 - Auto-sync circuit 52:21 - Modification to turn the clock into 12h time. Do you know what AM and PM stand for? Bet you have to Google it. Or ask GPT. Same thing nowadays really. 1:00:19 - The outro where I say a bunch of platitudes and have a heart to heart with the audience except not really cause I was running out of energy and I normally don't talk this much during any day so my vocal muscles were getting a bit tired but remember 1 like = 1 like :smiling_face_with_3_hearts: :100: World and Schematics Download, Material List: https://www.planetminecraft.com/proje...
