We began our journey at the Death Canyon Trailhead, climbing through rugged terrain up to the breathtaking Static Peak Divide, where panoramic views of the Tetons greeted us. From there, we dropped into the stunning Alaska Basin and spent the night beside the peaceful waters of Sunset Lake. Day two brought us to the dramatic Hurricane Pass, offering front-row views of the Grand, Middle, and South Tetons. We descended through the awe-inspiring South Fork of Cascade Canyon, finishing our 40 km (25-mile) adventure at the beautiful shores of Jenny Lake. This hike had it all — alpine lakes, wildflowers, wildlife, and jaw-dropping mountain vistas at every turn. Am început aventura de la Death Canyon Trailhead, urcând prin teren accidentat până la spectaculosul Static Peak Divide, unde ne-au întâmpinat priveliști panoramice asupra Munților Teton. De acolo, am coborât în uimitorul Alaska Basin și am petrecut noaptea lângă apele liniștite ale lacului Sunset. A doua zi ne-a dus spre dramaticul Hurricane Pass, oferindu-ne priveliști de prim-plan ale vârfurilor Grand, Middle și South Teton.
