#Daubenhorn, der wohl längste #Klettersteig in der #Schweiz. Im Kanton #Wallis, kommt man von #Leukerbad aus mit der #Gemmibahn auf die Bergstation #Gemmi (2350m). Zum Einstieg geht man Talwärts über den Gemmiweg bis «Untere Schmitte», ca. 30min von der Bergstation aus. Auch möglich von Leukerbad aus über denn Gemmiweg rauf zu Wandern, ca. 75min. Von Kanton Bern aus ist die Gemmi auch von Kandersteg erreichbar. Der Start/Einstieg «Untere Schmitte» ist auf ca. 2030m. Über 2000 Meter Stahlkabel, 216 Meter Leitern und einer Zweiseilbrücke ca. 30 Meter, die im Jahre 1997-98 installiert wurden, gelingt man über den Klettersteig hinauf auf’s Daubenhorn (2941m). Das Panorama der #WalliserAlpen ist einfach wunderbar und eindrücklich. Sehr speziell und einzigartig ist die durchquerung der natürlichen Höhle mit einer länge von ca. 100 Meter. Im obersten Teil hat es noch eine sehr tolle und strengere Passage, «Via Konst», die kann aber umgangen werden. Ich fand sie genial!! Nach 4,5 Stunden (nur Klettersteig), war ich dann auf dem Daubenhorn auf 2941m. Erst ging es von der Bergstation Gemmi 320m Talwärts zum Einstieg. Von Untere Schmitte dann min. 911m Bergwärts. Gesamtlänge mit abstieg sind es um die 9 Km. Für den abstieg hatte ich knapp 2 Std. also im ganzen etwa 7 Std. Ich hoffe mein Video gefällt euch? In the upper part there is a very nice and stricter passage, «Via Konst», but you can bypass it. I thought it was awesome !! After 4.5 hours (only via ferrata), I was on the Daubenhorn at 2941m. First it went from the Gemmi mountain station 320m downhill to the entrance. From Untere Schmitte then at least 911m uphill. The total length with the descent is around 9 km.
