"Beyond Norms: Exploring Identity" is a mini-documentary series that dives into the diverse subcultures of the LGBTQ+ community. As love and attraction evolve, the LGBTQ+ community leads the way in embracing diversity, but sometimes, we’ve created our own stereotypes—especially in dating and hookup culture. This series shines a light on these dynamics, exploring the unique and sometimes “not normal” aspects of different groups, like lesbians, queer deaf folks, gay men, trans and non-binary people, drag performers, and asexuals. "Beyond Norms" encourages participants to get real and open up about their vulnerabilities, challenging the way we connect and understand one another in our community. Episode 1 (Pilot): Masc vs. Masc challenges the unspoken "taboo" around masculine-to-masculine connections in the queer community, showcasing the raw beauty of masculine-presenting lesbians, non-binary individuals, and trans men embracing vulnerability and intimacy. In a world often defined by heteronormative ideals, this docu-episode reveals the powerful, unfiltered ways we love, connect, and redefine masculinity within the queer world.
