Satyr - 11B AutoRifle (PKM) I felt like i was able to put down some real hurt on RR as a Satyr PKM gunner. Had a lot of fun with this squad, despite taking the loss. 0:00 - 12:55 Observing Land bridge to the east, and was able to spot a Squad+ sized element moving toward the land bridge and holding the village on the other side of the river. We were ordered to cross the river and set security to allow Alpha to cross the land bridge behind us. Goes to show that without proper support, holding a tenuous/over-extended position is not viable. The odds of establishing Fire superiority is nigh impossible. KIA'd and reconstituted. 12:55 - Set overwatch position on the river-side hamlet on the west-side of the land bridge. 21:43 Incapped and revived before 22:13 moving down to the river-side hamlet to properly stem the enemy from taking the land bridge. 23:33 - 27:16 Found a good spot to fix the squad sized enemy on the opposite side of the land bridge. Incapped and revived. Squad proceeded to pull back west and swing south across the river to the southern town. Long flank around to the East/North again to attempt to get behind enemy positions entrenched to the east of our original positions. 36:35 - 43:00 A two-man scout team made our attempt to flank, and fixed us for five mins before we could confirmed we killed them via RPG/Grenades. SL decided our position was compromised and we had no support on our side of the river. Retraced our steps to get back to command. 45:00 - 52:24 Enemy caught our alpha fire team out in the open crossing, Bravo had limited resources and was not able to establish fire superiority. Bravo tried to cover as best as possible to hold the enemies attention while alpha re-routed to a land bridge further south. My PKM was able to fix the enemy squad on their side of the river. 52:24 - Retreated with Bravo FTL, with enemy squad advancing to our rear. They completely separated us from Alpha. The remaining bravo fire team was able to make it back into the forest tree line, and we set up an OP to monitor Alpha's tenuous withdraw. Eventually we were stalked by the enemy squad and we tried to pull them into 1-3's position. 1:00:40 - Resupplied on 1-3 and OF COURSE i was the first to get shot on the reload. Revived @ 1:03:55. Repositioned and failed to stop the Ranger sweep on our position. KIA'd. 1:08:14 - Reconstituted on Squad. Swept our immediate position and was able to stop a lone-wolf on our western flank, attempted to stabilize 1-3. Unfortunately we had to exfil, but happy with how cohesive our 1-1 squad performed all match.
