In this episode, I headed up to Slovakia for a couple of months and this is the first day out on the water. I hire a local guide (as I always do in new countries) both to learn the waters and to support the local guides who work their asses off on these rivers. I'm glad I did because my guide, Mirek, shows me some beautifully clear waters where I finally land my first ever grayling. On top of that, Dariece gets in on the action and catches and releases a beautiful little rainbow. What a day! Stay tuned because there's more coming from Slovakia.
