Then we proceed into Wilson Lock -- The Wilson Navigation Lock, located on the Tennessee River in Alabama, is the highest single-lift lock in the United States. Completed by the TVA in 1959, this impressive structure features a single-lift range of 93 to 100 feet. It replaced an older, double-lift system and is essential for navigating the Tennessee River's Muscle Shoals area.
