ImageworX 360º Visual of the 1944 Waal-Crossing reconstruction at Nijmegen

Experience the river-crossing by the brave men of the 82n Airborne in Holland during Market Garden in an immersive 360 way! On september 20th 2019 the Pontoongroup 40-45 in cooperation with the living historygroup MARS reconstructed the crossing of the river Waal near Nijmegen to commorate this heroic act by the brave men of the 82nd airborne division in september 1944. This event was part of the 75th commemoration of Operation Market Garden. ImageworX was embedded and captured this 360 experience. This extraordinary project was made possible because of the following parties: Pontoongroup 40-45, especially the Rustenburg Family and Dennis Kiekebos, MARS with a special thanks to Sidney Hesselberth, the city and authorities of Nijmegen, Rijkswaterstaat, the diveteam and all others who volunteered to recreate this historically event.
