And, if its not taken on with serious study, rhythm guitar can continue to frustrate guitar players for a very long time. The way around this issue has to do with isolating everything down to rhythm and strumming. By practicing very common rhythm patterns; through clapping, singing and by physically playing them on the guitar, students can finally begin to see good skills emerge with strumming techniques and with strumming hand control that otherwise might take years of study with dozens and dozens of songs!
