Turismo Carretera is the most popular racing series in Argentina, and the longest running racing series in the world, beginning in 1937. Initially using stock coupes, the series evolved during the 1960s into sports prototypes, with drivers experimenting with wild engine and aerodynamic configurations, with almost everything built or fabricated by hand. Sergio Loro has decided to highlight the 1970 season, which was seemingly the peak of this absurdity.
