Great Idea, Executed Poorly - LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2013 Iron Man Malibu Mansion Attack (76007)

Here's my look at the LEGO Iron Man 3 set, Iron Man Malibu Mansion Attack released in 2013. This was huuuuuge for being the first solo MCU movie to get LEGO sets so it set an exciting potential for more. It's interesting that LEGO would skip the next 2 movies released though and give us sets for Guardians over Thor and Captain America? The mansion is a terrific idea and still even today has the potential of being a smash hit set like the Avengers tower released some years ago or like the Daily Bugle. It's strange to me that this is still the only time we've ever seen this design in a set. It's hypocritical of me to dislike this for genuine reasons when I let other themes slide like SpongeBob SquarePants, so I don't hate this design but rather feel let down at the potential it could have been. Great use of figures though with some very worthwhile additions.
