Local Digital Index 2023 | Alex Davies-Jones

On 16 October, as part of ‪@birminghamtech‬ , techUK published the latest edition of our Local Digital Index (https://bit.ly/46I0PDC). The Index and report were analyzed to assess the strength of the tech sector across the UK in fields such as digital skills, digital infrastructure, finance and investment, and digital adoption. Recommendations were made for how the tech sector could be strengthened across the entire UK. The UK's tech sector played a vital role in the growth of the UK economy. It was through building stronger local economies that we aimed to ensure every area of the UK improved productivity, created jobs, and supported the growth of new and existing companies. We were delighted that BT Group hosted the event at their new offices in Birmingham.
