I shared the newly released roadmap last episode and because of said roadmap. We are increasing the rate of our campaign today. I want to finish the game at least once. • Phoenix point (gamepass) Hello all and welcome to my let’s play of Phoenix Point! The Steam year 1 edition of the game came out and im playing through the game again. Hopefully we can complete the game this time over! What the above mentioned line means in practice is that il skip the haven defence and Pandoran base destructions for the rest of the campaign. Il focus on story missions and hopefully by doing this we will still be able to complete the campaign before the newest DLC gets released. I dont want another campaign’s saves to be invalidated or have the campaign be severly altered while im half way through it. Today we destroy the last lair that was visible to us with our Red team. A small snippet aside where I test out Demo’s mechanical legs to leap to an elevated position in this mission which I found pretty neat but aside from that this mission was very lob sided in our favour. We absolutely crushed the Pandorans in this mission and because of that we mostly skip that mission. Our newest team in the meantime is thrown into the field and I show a small little blurb about what kind of a bind they found themselves in. I get this with every new team and I dont seem to learn but luckily noone dies. They get awfully close though! Our team in Manticore 3 does the bioengineering site 2 mission. Ive had it lying around for a while and its listed in the critical missions list so lets see it done. On the field we only find Triton and Ahrhrons but apparently they were guarding a ‘living’ assault rifle on the site. Or the living assault rifle found them, im not entirely sure what happened here. And lastly to round up the episode, we complete the mission to destroy the Pure. We do this with our Red team along with the newly completed missle launcher! I figured it would be a nice mission to give the weapon a testdrive. The androids of the Pure are very heavily armoured and I figured a massive rocket launcher might be a nice counter to them. That said, I did find the mission to be abit of an…..anti-climax. I expected more I guess :/ That said, the mission did reward a massive amount of 100 skill points that we are going to spenda at the start of next episode! Phoenix Point is a strategy video game featuring a turn-based tactics system that is developed by Bulgaria-based independent developer Snapshot Games. It was released on December 3, 2019 for macOS and Microsoft Windows, with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 ports are set to released in 2020[1] and for Google Stadia in 2021.[2] Phoenix Point is intended to be a spiritual successor to the X-COM series that had been originally created by Snapshot Games head Julian Gollop during the 1990s. Phoenix Point is set in 2047 on an Earth in the midst of an alien invasion, with Lovecraftian horrors on the verge of wiping out humanity. Players start the game in command of a lone base, Phoenix Point, and face a mix of strategic and tactical challenges as they try to save themselves and the rest of humankind from annihilation by the alien threat. Between battles, the aliens adapt through accelerated, evolutionary mutations to the tactics and technology which players use against them. Meanwhile, multiple factions of humans will pursue their own objectives as they compete with players for limited resources in the apocalyptic world. How players resolve these challenges can result in different endings to the game.
