Desde que llegué a Puerto Viejo, Walta ha sido uno de los Elders con los que he tenido una buena relación, compartiendo en los open mics y siempre abierto a compartir su sabiduría conmigo. Hace unas semanas, tuvimos la oportunidad de sentarnos y hablar sobre la vida en Puerto Viejo y el conocimiento que ha adquirido a lo largo de los años. "Walta", ha sido un pilar de la comunidad, compartiendo su amor por la música, la comida caribeña, la agricultura y siempre ofreciendo ayuda a quien lo necesite. Él cree que es el momento de que los afrodescendientes de Limón, especialmente en Puerto Viejo, se unan y trabajen juntos como lo hicieron en su juventud. ENGLISH Since moving to Puerto Viejo, Walta has been one of the Elders I built a good relationship with, sharing vibes at the open mics and always open to share his wisdom with me. A few weeks ago, we sat down to reason about life in Puerto Viejo and the knowledge he's gained over the years.
