Intercontinental Times Square (but I am subconsciously comparing it to the Intercontinental Barclay)

It’s tough being spoiled at Intercontinental Hotels in Asia and Europe and Central America and even in the US because if you’re human, you can’t help comparing how the same brand differs in presentation and product quality. In a vacuum my stay at the Intercontinental Times Square at 8th and 44th was comfortable and acceptable but rarely have I experienced “acceptable” at an Intercontinental Hotel. You will hear the pains in my thought processes in trying to not criticize this hotel too much. Be prepared though, the breakfast buffet is $48 all in and there are better options in the neighborhood.
