One of the few units on Amtrak sporting the Phase 3 paint scheme, NPCU 90368 is fairly common on the Pere Marquette in Michigan. On this day, she leads the daily westbound, number 371, from Grand Rapids. But first, they have to get to the station. Ordinarily, they pull south from their overnight location at Fuller Junction, but due to the "Flood of the Century", where the Grand River saw a record stage, the bridge just north of the station was OOS pending a lower level and an inspection. The train rounds the west leg of the Wye and disappears from view, as one wonders if the engineer who layed out the Sunnyside Wye ever envisioned railcars as long as Superliners.
