A morning stroll through Sofia center diving into parts of "Lozenets" neighborhood. Starting from the National Palace of Culture we passed over "Lovers Bridge"- at first sight an ordinary concrete bridge, yet it offers a great view of Sofia's busiest crossroads and is a common meeting spot for young coupes. "Lozenets" district derives its name from the time when the area was a vineyards field ( "Lozya" meaning vineyard) and is densely populated by well-off from middle to upper class families. It offers seclusion and privacy despite being located in the central part of the capital. It has various food stores, beauty salons and cafes. Our walk ended at "Black Peak" park, where local people relaxed and drank their morning coffee.
