Nightmare Tank - Shutout Defensive Summary After a fine victory last fight, our Nightmare Tank gets ready around the base, monitoring the defences being set up by friendly Engineers. Before long, the first wave of enemies attack in the form of 2 Scouts, one coming from the sewer exit. Our Nightmare Tank destroys the first enemy Scout quickly while the second kills a friendly Engineer. Instant retaliation is delivered via a Nightmare 'nade to the second enemy Scout to finish him. As both sides regroup, another pair of enemy Scouts appear from the sewer exit. Our Nightmare Tank fires a Nightmare 'nade hitting one Scout that destroys the other in the blast radius. The first Scout tries to advance as our Nightmare Tank disappears around the corner. The enemy Scout peers around the corner...and sees a Nightmare 'nade heading straight for him that annihilates him like his comrade. As he returns to a friendly Dispenser for patching up and asking for it to be upgraded, he spots a Spy disguised as an Engineer and quickly gives chase, taking out the Spy before he can get properly into the base. Our Nightmare Tank then goes and patrols the base a bit, checking the sewer exit where he sees a Spy disguised as a Scout coming up. The Spy quickly cloaks and our Nightmare Tank tries to hit him, but to no avail. He returns back to the defences, but not before being attacked by a Tomislav wielding Heavy with a Pocket. He manages to take another route to avoid them and gets back to the defences. After replenishing health and ammo, he starts to harass the pair who are building up charge until he catches the Medic taunting and destroys him. With the enemy Medic dead, the enemy Heavy tries to push on, but ultimately meets a similar fate while a Cloaked Spy slips through and starts harassing an Engineer's teleporter. Meanwhile, an enemy Scout attacks our Nightmare Tank, but is quickly brought down by the defences. Our Nightmare Tank resumes patrol and encounters an SMG-wielding Sniper, who he swaps shots with. Although our Nightmare Tank doesn't kill the enemy Sniper, he is forced back anyway, due to emptying his SMG. As our Nightmare Tank goes for more replenishing, he checks the upstairs area, bumping into the Spy harassing the teleporter, who he quickly destroys via reflexive action. Once fully replenished, he checks below, encountering a Soda Popper-wielding Scout that starts to harass him constantly, forcing a retreat by our Nightmare Tank. As he tries to take a flank, he sees a Disguised Spy briefly before being attacked by the enemy Scout again. He moves to the right flank again, ready to fire, and accidentally catches a Cloaked Spy close up while the second one goes straight into the Disguised Spy, destroying him and significantly weakening the enemy Scout. The Cloaked Spy, along with two other Cloaked Spies manage to avoid death from Nightmare 'nades. Our Nightmare Tank pursues one Cloaked Spy, thinking there's only one towards the basement, unbeknowest to him that he bumped againsts the Cloaked Spy just behind him. He descends into the basement, staying alert. Meanwhile, the enemy Scout shoots down a friendly Scout trying to get him into the open, then hears the defence's Dispenser getting sapped and moves up. However, the Sentry Gun was still unsapped, and so it proceeds to make light work of the enemy Scout. Meanwhile our Nightmare Tank searches the basement and knocks against a Cloaked Spy, whose Cloak & Dagger drains fully, revealing his shadow for our Nightmare Tank and a friendly Engineer to chase. A Nightmare 'nade to the Cloaked Spy sends him packing, and our Nightmare Tank returns to the surface, giving the kill confirmation. Not long after returning to the surface defences, he sees an enemy Soda Popper Scout and destroys him in one hit, laughing heavily while a friendly Scout runs past with the last piece of intelligence. As he moves to check an advancing friendly Pyro who confirms to not be a Spy, an enemy Engineer shoots at the friendly Pyro with a Pomson, bringing our Nightmare Tank to engage the enemy Engineer. Mid-fight, however, the last piece of intelligence is captured, stripping the enemy Engineer of his weapons and causing him to flee. Our Nightmare Tank chases down and holds up the enemy Engineer, who had jumped into the water below the bridge before the round restarted.
