Michael was joined by among others, Whitney Houston, Gloria Estefan, Britney Spears, *NSYNC and Destiny's Child to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his solo singing career. September 8 1897, Born on this day, the first country music star, Jimmie Rodgers. Jimmie sold over 12 million records and was the first person to be elected into the Country Music Hall Of Fame.
