In episode 2 of our new Cotswold Series, we take a sunny morning walk through the beautiful village of Bourton-on-the-Water, known as the Venice of the Cotswolds. It’s full of tea rooms, quaint shops and beautiful chocolate box houses made from iconic honey coloured Cotswold stone. Situated around the lovely River Windrush, the village is renowned for its spectacular beauty. It is also famous for its five Cotswold stone bridges, dating between 1654 and 1911. Due to its outstanding beauty and tranquility (outside of peak tourist season) the village attracts visitors at all times of the year, and it has several fun things for visitors to see and do. These include its own model village, the Cotswold Motoring and Toy Museum, Hawkstone Brewery and Greystones Nature Reserve.
