Hi Friends! This is a project with multiple steps- so it requires help from an adult, but it has a number for wonderful ah-ha moments about construction with shapes and different ways to use found materials and applications of materials. You will need: light weight cardboard ( please watch the video this cardboard comes in the packaging of my food, I am not sure if it has a specific name), glue, scissors, marker, paint, paint brush, thin light weigh paper for printing. Step One: Draw Shapes Cut shapes Glue shapes to another piece of the cardboard to create the dreidel shape. Let dry covered in wax paper under something heavy (if you do this part first thing in the morning it will be ready the same day). Step two: Paint the dreidel shape - you can have your child/student paint the whole thing, but show them that they will gently rub the shape part (see video) Place the thin piece of paper over the dreidel and gently rub with fingers Peel away paper from board What do you see? It is beautiful! Good work :) Love, Susan
